This session will include technical demonstrations to expose the features found in this latest Windows Server 2008 based Small Business solution that is coming to market in the second half of 2008.
What are we going to cover in this SBS 2008 session?
· The usual SBS suspects: overview, setup, administration and management.
· Migration scenarios: how do we get into SBS 2008?
· Branch Offices and Read Only Domain Controllers.
· Where’s my firewall? SBS 2008 goes single-nic only, and firewall solutions!
If we have time and audience interest, we can touch on EBS 2008, the mid-market server solution recently added to the Windows Essential Server Solution family.
We are meeting at the Microsoft office in downtown Calgary. The location is the 19th floor of the Altius tower at 500 4th Ave SW. Be early to avoid confusion on the elevators.
